CHANGE THE GAME!
By writing your own rules! - Ernie Paniccioli
OMG I love it, it took me a while to get to this post January has been crazy. I am just so happy to see someone who I respect as a human being and artist Ernie Paniccioli take things into his own hands by releasing his own photography books independently! you know I love that word:)
Most of the time I’m busting my ass trying to do it all on my own so I don’t have to deal with the bullshit. You know your self best, do you! ain’t no more room for compromising. All them fancy graphics, hype and fake ass connects can’t get your true soul out there. It’s back to basics baby, support your peeps! Our shit is sacred, and our hearts are speaking louder so listen up! Ain’t no disney team gonna back up our freedom of speech when the shit hits the fan know what I mean jellybean?
Anyway just my thoughts for today…thank you Ernie for “Staying True”

INKS is a mix of the inspirations and influences of Pamela Mena, a 23 year old talent in the works, who’s pursuit to shape her own identity lead her into a world full of expression and freedom.
INKS embodies a love of independent punk, rock music, technology, street art, and design. It bears a fusion of Pam’s works in graphic art, alongside a Queens, NY to Daytona Beach, FL fashion sensibility. With the hallmark hot pink and gold printed totes, handmade by Mom, INKS expresses a very eclectic, “chill mode” style.
Pam has been motivated and inspired by street artist like Bansky, and her sister Toofly, whom she collaborated with on graffiti walls during the summer. She began making personal stencil works in early 2002 on various found objects at home and on the street. Her stencil work has been featured in books like Stencil Pirates, and online sites like Wooster Collective.
Pam’s INKS can now be found on Toofly NYC Shop, as well as Hi-Five (NYC), All the Right, (NYC) and the INKS myspace page.

I got this from my cousin Nancy today I think everyone should take a moment and replay it into their consciousness as we go move into 2008. We all know were in deep shit with the environment, but every little bit we can do helps! Especially when it’s all put in as simple a form as this, you know what you gotta do! Help spread the word…
