Maria" TOOFLY" Castillo was born in Ecuador, and raised in New York City. Recognized for her hard and fluid street style. One of the few women to step into the male dominated scene in the early 90's. She helped pave the way for others, especially women who followed in her footsteps. She's a multidisciplinary artist, designer, entrepreneur, educator, and founder of the @LadiesLoveProject. Toofly’s work has been published in books like Graffiti Women, Outdoor Gallery, Street Art by Women 50+ most essential influential contemporary artists. She is featured in the @StreetHeroines film documentary available on Amazon. Her paintings have showcased with Deitch Projects, Wynwood Walls, and Bronx Museum of Art.
